My Happy Creation

Dear Readers,
I'm often asks what keeps me going and gives me my happy flare. I am often asked by friends and family why I am always so chipper in the mornings when I should be sleepy and depressed at the haunting day ahead. Sometimes I tell them the truth, most the time I don't. The truth will not work for them and it's my little secret to life. The truth will not set them free as it has me without a price and some time. I often look at them with pity as they look toward me with hope. A hope that will be dashed unless I can think of something quick to say in place of the truth and that saddens me. It is a lie I know but it's one I must make. Sometimes I tell them I don't know and I can see the sadness engulf their face. Often I tell them that no matter what you do the days will come so it's best to face them cheerfully. This seems to make them happy. It creates a state of mind that I often seek out. To be happy might make the day better. To be happy might make the day seem shorter when it is bad. Often I tell them it's them that make me happy. It's my friends and family that keep me cheery and content with the world. It's close to the truth but not the cigar. As said before the truth can't help them so why say it at all. The truth can't make them see the world as a creative pallet. The truth will not turn each day into a potential joke or catch phrase for them as it does me. "Just smile and enjoy life," I tell them as I beam my smile forth. The world is a four course meal and sometimes you don't have room for dessert and that's fine. It's the way life is and will always be. The secret to my cheeriness is found within the pages of this site. It can be located on the front page and updates every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. My comic keeps me happy. It molds my life into a series of punch lines and phrases that amuse and entertain me. My comic, while not always good, is a gateway to things I long to be. Sometimes they are actual conversations I have had with my friends while other times they are conversations I have had with myself. There is no reason to invent a friend when the other conversational side can be portrayed by a person just like me. On a whim I can make 100 of me or simply one. Sometimes I make myself tall or short as I feel fit. It's a perfect world of my creation. It's my creation and it keeps me happy. My happy little creation.
